Welcome to Learnillion. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. User Accounts
2.1 Account Registration
To access most features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
2.2 Account Types
We offer two types of accounts:
- Parent Accounts: For parents and guardians to manage their children's learning.
- Teacher Accounts: For educators to manage classes and students in educational settings.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
3.1 Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a free trial period. During the trial, you have full access to the Service. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel.
3.2 Billing
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
3.3 Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
- Your account data is retained for 30 days in case you wish to resubscribe.
4. Content & Usage
4.1 Our Content
All content on the Service, including games, quizzes, worksheets, images, text, and software, is owned by Learnillion or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
4.2 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from our software.
- Share your account credentials with others.
4.3 Printable Materials
Worksheets and printable materials may be printed for personal or classroom use by the account holder. They may not be distributed, sold, or published elsewhere.
5. Children's Accounts
5.1 Parental Consent
Children under 13 cannot create their own accounts. Child profiles must be created by a parent or teacher account holder who assumes responsibility for the child's use of the Service.
5.2 Student Accounts
Teachers may create student accounts for use in educational settings. Teachers represent that they have obtained necessary consents from parents or guardians, or that their use is permitted under applicable educational privacy laws.
For Schools: If you are a school or educational institution, please contact us about our institutional agreements which include additional privacy and data protection provisions.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service immediately ceases.
- We may delete your account data after 30 days.
- Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. General Provisions
8.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
8.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Learnillion regarding the Service.
